Having a clogged heart? How can you take care of it now?

There is an answer from every angle with regards to this – medical, pharmaceutical, holistic, spiritual, mental, philosophical and physical etc etc…. on how you can improve your heart health. I am not a professional or an expert in this field but i can parley some experiences and observations for the reader to take action.  My take is that an approach of integrative, proactive and holistic in addition to being natural, regular and disciplined can carry the heart to operate with less burden and be more healthy and joyful.

Typically, if you have a clogged heart, as detected by an angiogram, your choices could be a stent or a bypass surgery and sometimes even medication to thin your blood like Coumadin, which has other complications it can cause. But, you might be able to do a few other things as below to complement and dovetail the right strategy for you to get and stay healthy!

From a physical aspect of this, I ‘d say there is no substitute from exercising daily and deep breathing daily and to get as much sun as possible daily and perhaps do some yoga postures daily to improve circulation and enhance the heart health – just like you would brush your teeth daily.

From a mental side, doing daily meditation helps the body to experience the “stillness”  that the body and mind have gotten away from and this can cause turmoil and a pattern of habits and absorbing of stress in the body that one should learn some form of it to preferably daily AM practice it.

From a chemical and nutritional side of things, one can benefit by reducing the calories and taking of foods that improve the omega-3 fatty oils in nuts and fish and there is something about Nitrous oxide and its benefits, kindly look into it. I’ve posted a blog oon this topic as well.  Nitrogen should make you think about protein, its basic building block and essential for heart health and there is some benefits of having regular amounts of protein. As is the case with L-arginine that is now proven to help heart health.  Reduce overall calories and type of calories, cut back on as much as possible from foods that come in packages and boxes. Taking natural form is best, pills and supplements that are natural based are next best, in case you need it for the  convenience it offers  and try to minimize dependence on drugs and pills to correct problems…

From a spiritual side of things, Delight in the  LORD and He will give the desires of your heart!
