Why does a walk for 30 mins after dinner so beneficial?
Walking just a few steps, especially if it can be done after dinner, at least 6 days a week can be very beneficial to health and well-being. Just this seemingly small amount of activity can prevent metabolic syndrome in adults. Research has shown that those who simply walk their neighborhood for about 30 minutes each evening could improve their health.
This walking as an activity helps to trim the waist. This gentle activity can also help keep the blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels all within a normal range. Metabolic syndrome is when these numbers are elevated. By a short walk each evening, good health is ensured.
I have noticed especially when I eat too much, its best that I walk to feel comfortable. Conversely, anytime I walk after dinner, I always feel very good before I retire for the bed. I also notice i burp and belch and let the gases out when i walk and this maybe good as it does not allow me to feel bloated. Yet another simple, easy way to safeguard yourself from metabolic syndrome related diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, heart diseases and then some.
How much simple can it get? Do not underestimate the power of small steps to amazing wellness!
